With many small technical programs budget is always a major issue and keeping up with industry-specific software is especially challenging. LBCC Pharmtech program needed to train its students on the Pharma-serv software system. PathWorks worked to create a Pharma-serv “simulation” that gave the students basic hands-on experience with the system. In addition, the program wanted to help students be familiar with real-life situations in the actual pharmacy prior to their internships. Pathworks created a series of ‘virtual pharmacy’ scenarios drawn from actual pharmacist experience that presented the students with virtual customers to react to while learning the Pharma-serv interface.
